Christopher joined the Centre as a full-time Research Assistant in 2019. He obtained a Bachelor of Psychology with second-class honours from Deakin University in 2018. His honours thesis primarily focused on the relationship between social networking site (SNS) posting behaviours, the experience of regret and adverse mental health outcomes (e.g., Depression). In 2019, he was employed at Deakin University (under Professor Vicki White) as a casual Research Assistant, gaining practical experience in health psychology through several projects such as a systematic review of online psychological interventions for chronic health conditions. Christopher is currently assisting Dr Elizabeth Holmes-Truscott with various tasks related to investigating and reducing psychological insulin resistance in people with type 2 diabetes.
