The ACBRD, in partnership with the Australian Diabetes Society, Australian Diabetes Educators Association, Diabetes Victoria and Diabetes Australia, is conducting a brief survey about healthcare for hypoglycaemia-related problems.
This brief online survey will help us to better understand health professional’s experiences of, and needs for, supporting adults with type 1 diabetes with hypoglycaemia-related problems (e.g. fear of hypos, severe hypos, and impaired awareness of symptoms).
The study findings will help us to develop and roll-out a new online program for adults with type 1 diabetes called HypoPAST, which aims to reduce hypoglycaemia-related problems.
We are looking for people who:
-
-
- Work in Australia as a health professional (e.g. endocrinologists, GPs, Credentialled Diabetes Educators, pharmacists, nurses, dietitians, or other allied health professional)
- Consult with adults with type 1 diabetes
- Can spare about 10 minutes to complete an online survey

This study has received Deakin University ethics approval (HEAG-H 209_2022).
