Is insulin right for me? Resources for people with type 2 diabetes
Your diabetes health care team is there to help you with all aspects of your diabetes, including your questions and concerns about starting insulin injections and medications for type 2 diabetes.
You can talk to your doctor, a diabetes educator or a practice nurse. Only a doctor can prescribe insulin. A diabetes educator or practice nurse can provide additional training and support.
A range of services and support are also available through the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS)*.
