Associate Research Fellow

Alison is an Associate Research Fellow at the ACBRD. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) from Charles Sturt University in 2010, and since then has assisted with various research projects surrounding chronic disease prevention, digital health, and rural health. She joined the ACBRD in April 2023.
Alison is currently providing support on the MRFF Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA) funded HypoPAST (Hypoglycaemia Prevention, Awareness of Symptoms, and Treatment) project. HypoPAST is an online psycho-educational program designed to reduce fear of hypoglycaemia through improved prevention and management of hypos.
Alison has lived with type 1 diabetes since 2011 and is thrilled to be working with the Centre to help improve the lives of people living with diabetes.
