Around 1.2 million Australians have diabetes and this number is increasing by about 100,000 every year. ACBRD researchers conduct projects that focus on what it is like to live with diabetes, how to improve self-care, and to reduce its negative impact on well-being and quality of life. Our research is designed to be immediately relevant to the lives of all people affected by diabetes; and to enable us to inform policy and practice. We rely on funding to support our research projects and related activities. We depend on the support of Diabetes Victoria and Deakin University (as our founding partners), as well as on research grants, consultancy income, donations and fundraising.

Thank you for helping us to find ways to improve the lives of people with diabetes.
