Diabetes MILES-2 survey report 2016

The second Diabetes MILES Study was a national survey of 2,342 Australians with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, undertaken in 2015. It focuses on the psychological, behavioural and social aspects of living with diabetes and includes novel areas of research (eg: diabetes stigma).

Diabetes MILES – Youth study

The Diabetes MILES – Youth study was conducted in 2014. The aim was to explore the well-being and quality of life of young people with diabetes and their parents, and to examine self-reported diabetes care and health outcomes. A total of 781 young Australians with type 1 diabetes (aged 10 to 19 years) and 826 parents of youth with type 1 diabetes took part.

Diabetes MILES – Australia 2011 Survey Report

The Diabetes MILES Study was the first national survey of Australian adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes undertaken focused on the psychological, social and behavioural aspects of living with diabetes. A total of 3,338 eligible participants took part.
