Help shape stigma-free diabetes healthcare

A healthcare professional discusses information on a tablet with a male patient in a clinical setting.

Many people with type 2 diabetes experience stigma in healthcare settings. Stigma can include feeling judged, blamed, or treated differently for having diabetes. Such experiences can make it harder for a person to manage their health, ask questions, or feel at ease during clinical appointments.

We’re conducting an international study to understand what receiving diabetes healthcare free from stigma means and looks like to you.

    • Are aged 18 years or older
    • Live with type 2 diabetes
    • Can read and write in English

Complete an online survey

    • The survey asks a few questions about you, your experiences of diabetes healthcare and what stigma-free diabetes healthcare mean to you
    • It should take about 20–25 minutes to complete
    • You can pause and return to it later on the same device

The survey is anonymous! We will not collect your name, contact details, or any information that could identify you.
