by Dr Adriana Ventura

Having worked at the ACBRD for many years, and after gaining clinical experience in chronic disease management in the public system and not-for-profit sector, Adriana understands how challenging it can be to maintain healthy behaviours and a healthy mindset when dealing with health problems. Some of the concerns Adriana can help with include:

  • Adjustment issues
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Acute and chronic stress
  • Diabetes-related distress
  • Weight management
  • Past trauma and abuse
  • Grief and loss
  • Eating disorders

Adriana’s sessions are often guided by various therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
